The seedling symbolises restoring and maintaining ecology.
It also serves to represent how the right conditions play a big role in the developmental of a child. Our intention with the Little Sahaabah program is to nurture our little ones to develop midfulness and contribute positively to the world.
عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ يَغْرِسُ غَرْسًا أَوْ يَزْرَعُ زَرْعًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ طَيْرٌ أَوْ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ بَهِيمَةٌ إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ بِهِ صَدَقَةٌ
Anas bin Malik reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “There is no Muslim who plants a tree or sows seeds and then a bird, or a person, or an animal eats from it except that it is charity for him.”

Aisha reported: I was on a camel that was misbehaving, so I started to beat it. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to me, “You must be gentle. Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Those who are merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.”
